Cosmo Cosmetics has built its name on a simple idea: good skincare, haircare and personal care should be part of everyday life, not a luxury. The range spans haircare, skincare, personal care and men's grooming, made for daily use by women and men alike, at prices that make sense.
Products are developed to meet international standards of quality and performance, using formulations and ingredients chosen for the way people actually use them, whatever their routine and wherever they live.
HOW COSMO PRODUCTS ARE MADE
Cosmo products are manufactured at the group's own facility in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The plant is certified to GMP ISO 22716, the international standard for Good Manufacturing Practice in cosmetics, and to ISO 9001:2015 for quality management. It also holds Halal certification. It runs accredited quality-control testing and has an annual production capacity of around 120 million units across the beauty and personal care range.
Those certifications matter to you in a practical way. GMP ISO 22716 certification is one of the documents Sri Lanka's National Medicines Regulatory Authority requires before a cosmetic can be registered for sale here. It is part of the reason we are able to bring these products into the country properly, rather than through a suitcase.
THE COMPANY BEHIND THE BRAND
Cosmo Cosmetics is produced by Sterling Perfumes Industries, a family-run manufacturer based in Dubai.
It began with a conviction held by its founder, Mr. Fakhruddin: that a business only succeeds when every link in the chain benefits from it. Supplier, employee and customer alike. That principle has shaped the group's approach ever since, and it is one we recognise in how they deal with us.
Sterling Perfumes Industries started out producing 250 pieces a day. Today it produces in the region of 250,000.
COSMO COSMETICS IN SRI LANKA
In Sri Lanka, Cosmo Cosmetics is imported and distributed by RK Luxe (Private) Limited.
We are the sole local agent, appointed by the brand owner. Every product we sell comes into the country through official channels, arrives with proper documentation, and is registered with the National Medicines Regulatory Authority for sale in Sri Lanka. It also means that if something goes wrong, there is a registered company in Panadura that answers the phone.
That distinction matters. Cosmo products reach Sri Lanka through unofficial channels too, brought in as personal luggage, sold through social media, sometimes stored badly and sometimes past their date. We cannot speak for any of that. We can speak for what we sell.
WHAT WE STOCK
Our range covers five categories: hair care, skin care, body care, baby care and fragrance. We list a product on this website only once it is registered and in stock. If you are looking for something you have seen elsewhere in the Cosmo range and cannot find it here, it may not yet be registered in Sri Lanka. Write to us and we will tell you where it stands.
